The coronavirus pandemic that has been sweeping through America has many on edge. Just mentioning the name alone is enough to send chills up and down some people’s spine. Restaurants, bars, tattoo parlors, hair salons, nail salons, and tanning salons, are just some of the businesses that have been suffering.
The stock market has lost trillions of dollars, which it had gained ever since President Trump took office. The virus is a one man wrecking machine and I think it has changed our way of life forever.
When you go to the grocery store the items that you once bought with ease just a few months ago, are now almost impossible to find. So if someone tried to intentionally destroy products, that would most likely piss you off. Well, that’s exactly what happened at a Kingston, Massachusetts market.
A man from Duxbury was in the produce department at a Stop and Shop on Saturday when he allegedly began coughing and spitting on the produce. Some customers noticed and immediately stepped in and took action by tacking the man and held him to the ground until police came.
A video of the incident has been posted to YouTube by Patriot Ledger where they also reported, (see below)
“Police are currently pursuing an application for criminal complaint which may involve the following criminal charges: assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, his foot, assault and battery, and destruction of property.
“The investigation is ongoing, but police have no reason to believe the individual has the coronavirus. Out of precaution, he was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess-Plymouth Hospital for evaluation.
“The man, whose name is not being released at this time, was informed he is no longer welcome at the Kingston store and will be charged with trespassing if he returns, according to the police statement.
“The Kingston Board of Health was contacted and also responded to Stop & Shop to ensure public safety. If appropriate, the Kingston and Duxbury boards of health will take further action.”
Our nation is under a national state of emergency and our food supplies are limited due to people over buying. If convicted, he should serve hard time!
